Welcome to Liverpool!!

We arrived in Liverpool after quite the journey! We visited platform 9 3/4 at Kings Cross Station,

and then boarded a train to Liverpool. Unfortunately, there were a few chatty Cathy's booked in the "quiet car."

We arrived in Liverpool after a terrific train ride through the English countryside. 

We quickly checked into our AMAZING HOTEL!!!!

And then went off to meet some fantastic teachers from the local schools! It's so amazing to hear about the educational similarities between the two countries. I am so excited for tomorrow. Lucy, the teacher I am working with tomorrow recommended heading to a local pub because tonight was the football match of all matches in Liverpooll, Everton vs. Liverpool Football Club, both Liverpool teams. It was sure to be a cultural experience! So, after adventuring to Albert Dock, 

... A few of us ventured out to see the match in some local watering holes. 

Let's just say LFC was the favorite! 

After the game we hit one more pub and then headed back for bed. Tomorrow we are off to The Studio School!
